The problem

A useful embedded prototype must translate a physical sensor signal into a readable measurement and coordinate output hardware with software controls.

What I built

Working with a team, I built an Arduino and C++ system to measure solution acidity in real time. The prototype integrates a pH probe, calibration, an LCD, and relay-controlled pumps and tubing.

HOW IT FITS TOGETHER

The architecture.

  1. 01

A pH probe and interface board provide sensor input.

  2. 02

Arduino control logic compares the measurement to a user-defined target.

  3. 03

The LCD presents prompts and measurement status.

  4. 04

Relay modules switch pumps to control fluid flow.

ENGINEERING DETAILS

Decisions that matter.

Sensor integration

Configured and calibrated the pH sensor to support real-time measurement and LCD output.

Hardware meets software

Integrated relay channels, pumps, and tubing with Arduino control logic.

Prototype scope

An educational team prototype. The README lists better calibration, data logging, and safety limits as future improvements; it is not presented as a production chemical-control device.

Public pH project README and résumé. Diagram is conceptual and contains no fabricated measurements.
